Un-Conference Facilitator

Adrian Segar, has convened, designed and facilitated hundreds of conferences all over the world. Dissatisfied with traditional conferences and realizing that he loved to create spaces for people to connect, Adrian launched the first peer-to-peer conference in 1992. He has been refining his Conferences That Work methodology ever since and been named one of the most innovative and influential people in the meetings business.

Prior to his work with participant-led conferences, Adrian earned a PhD in elementary particle physics from University College, London, where his work ultimately earned the 2009 European Physics Prize. Adrian also owned Solar Alternative, a solar energy manufacturing company, and taught computer science at Marlboro College.
