What's new and hot for searching? We know that Google is often many people’s “go to” search platform. However, Google does not know everything! Moreover, useful information may get buried in the vast number of search results. In this session senior/experienced technology transfer personnel from Universities, Institutes, and even Federal labs will show where and how they search, providing insight into the strategies that have worked for them. Most organizations work with limited budgets, time, and resources, yet must find useful information without incurring great expenses for in-house initial prior art searches for the evaluation of EIRs or new technologies. This session will also provide an overview of how to develop strategies for popular site searches (i.e. optimizing keyword selection and searching using unique format(s)).
