AUTM Essentials Mini-Course

The Essentials Mini-Course will be a separate one-day pre-meeting workshop that will gather individuals from diverse backgrounds and levels of experience to a common understanding of the fundamental goals and processes of academic technology transfer. This course builds skills and resources necessary to function effectively at evaluating inventions and negotiating license agreements. The workshops are designed to follow the lifecycle of the invention, patenting and licensing process: evaluation of invention disclosures, triage, patenting, marketing intellectual property, valuation, and license negotiation to established companies and startups.

Please note that registration for the Essentials Mini-Course is an additional fee to AUTM 2016 Western Region Meeting registration.
