2017 Agreement Maintenance Course

November 1 - 3, 2017
Hyatt Regency Bethesda
Bethesda, MD USA

AUTM thanks the following sponsor for its generous support:

In this new AUTM course, join us for an in-depth, experienced look at how to manage and maintain your office’s license agreement portfolio. Learn from Finance Directors, Agreement Administrators, Operations Managers and other Technology Transfer Professionals who manage the input and maintenance of executed License Agreements, Amendments, Option Agreements, Inter-Institutional Agreements, and Collaboration Agreements. We will discuss best practices for streamlining processes to manage the compliance of the terms of contracts executed within a technology transfer office and offer some “from the trenches” advice for handling the nuances of this challenging responsibility. Topics include record keeping and auditing, managing licensees and IIA partner obligations, legal expense billing and invoicing, office finance and revenue distributions. This is a great opportunity to network with those that manage these complex obligations with other institutions.
Participants will leave this new AUTM course with answers to their questions, time-saving solutions, and other tools to use in their office and to share with their coworkers.

Added Value

Agreement Maintenance Course registrants may also attend sessions from the concurrent Patent Administrator Intellectual Property Portfolio Management Course and the Compliance Course curriculum, maximizing educational value for each attendee’s background experience and interests, and broadening networking opportunities!
