Lilly Open Innovation Drug Discovery Program (PD2)

The Lilly PD2 initiative was established in 2009 through a partnership with AUTM. An expanded scientific program which includes target-based screening (TargetD2) as well as neglected diseases research (Tuberculosis) is now available under the Open Innovation Drug Discovery banner. Learn more.

USPTO Patents for Humanity

Patents for Humanity is the United States Patent & Trademark Office's (USPTO) awards competition recognizing innovators who use game-changing technology to meet global humanitarian challenges. The program provides business incentives for reaching those in need: winners receive an acceleration certificate to expedite select proceedings at the USPTO, as well as public recognition of their work. The awards showcase how patent holders with vision are pioneering innovative ways to provide affordable, scalable, and sustainable solutions for the less fortunate. Learn more.


USPTO/AUTM Patent Examiners Training Initiative

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is partnering with AUTM to invite AUTM members from across the country to participate in the USPTO Patent Examiner Technical Training Program. This joint training and education effort calls upon AUTM members to provide specialized technical training to patent examiners who work in the various technologies examined throughout the USPTO. Learn more.
