The AUTM 2010 Eastern Region Meeting will take place in Atlanta, Georgia, home to several prominent universities at the forefront of academic technology transfer. We will meet to discuss successful practices and new strategies to help weather these complicated economic times. The meeting will be held in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, which offers outstanding restaurants, world-class shopping and an ideal environment for both networking and fun. As in the past, the meeting will offer continuing legal education (CLE) credit for attorneys, insightful plenary sessions and a series of timely workshops.

Continuing Legal Education (CLE)
AUTM has applied for Continuing Legal Education credit for sessions 2A, 4A, 4B, 5B and 7A in Puerto Rico and the states of Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Alabama. Approval for these credits is pending.

Certified Licensing Professionals (CLP) Continuing Education
Certified Licensing Professionals are required to demonstrate continued competence in their field to maintain their certification status.  Individuals who hold the CLP designation can renew their credential by earning at least 40 continuing education (CE) credits.  Educational courses and conference sessions, such as the AUTM Eastern Region Meeting, that are relevant to the licensing industry can be used to meet this requirement.  One clock hour of participation in these events is equivalent to one CE credit.  Visit www.licensingcertification.org for more information on the recertification requirements.
